drumming away

We attended an amazing drumming workshop on Sunday afternoon.
Still it is hard to forget how Bristol was great for children's activities and classes. We are very sentimental about one particular dancing class that took place on Friday mornings in St Werburghs Wild Goose Space.
But at least this workshop could make up for our previous mishaps.
There was plenty of body language, singing, dancing, breathing, storytelling, music and drumming of course. Kids loved percussion instruments, playing simple rhythms, feeling the vibrations and the joy of making noise made them content for the rest of the day.
Highly recommended.

Paddy's Day 2013

This years celebrations brought us to a local pub for a cup of tea and an amazing-still-warm apple pie.

As much as we don't eat dairy, we could't resist that cake. 6 thin layers of pastry sandwiched with whipped cream, a classic in the family.
